Your Appearance Says Alot About You

Don't walk on the street looking like you just ended a battle...,worn-out, stressed and haggard, because the way you look speaks volume.

Just imagine a mad person walking towards you, i guess you'll quickly change your direction. You'll do that because the appearance  had just sent a message across to you.

when other people see you, the first thing they do is to seize you up and make a final judgement wich will either make them want to associate with you or run away from you.

How Do You Look?

Cloths

pay attention to your appearance, wear clean, pressed and sizable cloths, don't over do though!....lol. I needed to chip in that part (over-do) cos some people will just want to put in an unrequired effort in the way they dress.

Going for an interview or to the office ? dress corporately & also accordint to the position your going for. For those working with artist or fashion designing firm, you should dress to comply. To a party? dress for the code, 'if any' and where there is non you can do your free-style thing but make sure to be moderate. To Church? dress moderately or according to departmental dress code. The picture above is a dress made with African material and this material can be design and sewed in different styles according to your taste & purpose. You can go to church dress that way(as-in the above), when hanging out, it will also do well on you but remember to 'off-the-cap'...lol
You shouldnt wear to work, except it's a Friday.

& don't for get your confidence at home when leaving home, it will place a glow on you.* wink*

Hair

Make sure your hair is always tidy. DO NOT carry a particular hair style for so long, just because you 'think' its still ok or someone told you so.

DO NOT fix more than 11/2(one & a half) weavon(hair extentions), if you want to look natural.
Look for styles that fit your face & don't just make hair cos it fits your friend.
Be creative, Change styles and don't forget to get a good stylist and stick with one if you don't want a damaged hair, unless otherwise.

Makeup

DO NOT use your face as a signboard or a scientific experiment.
When you use a very bright colour like; red, pink, wine, etc on your lips, do not apply another bright colour on the eyes, use nude colours 'if' you must use any eye shadow or a black/brown eyeliner and vice-a vice, apply your blush and you will be good to go.
Always remember to give your skin a break; don't apply the concealer and foundation all the time and if possible, you can occasionally apply a white powder instead of brown. Let your face get fresh air too.
you can step out with your natural look once a while especially if you just want to hang out with friends, apply just your powder a little natural colored lip gloss and off you should go!

Let your appearance speak what you intend it to.

to be continued...

  1. Thanks for the info. I am a male. Based on your suggestion (since there is nothing in your write up that suggest you are only addressing the female folk), I want to dress like in the picture above. Kindly give me the home address of the lady in the picture so that I can visit her and ask her to design a similar cloth for me. lol
